Continue your career path with us. We are looking for a Backend Developer IoT (m/f/d) for our Berlin team.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Together with your team, you will plan and develop a cloud platform according to microservices principles.
  • Design software architectures and complex systems.
  • Find innovative solutions within an agile team.
  • Design algorithms for big data and data streaming for passenger counting data.

Your Profile

  • You are an IoT professional and know cloud-native applications like no other.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a backend developer in a cloud-native environment.
  • Proficient in cloud-native application design with microservice architecture according to DDD or Clean Architecture principles.
  • Your preferred backend stack includes: Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
  • Experience with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, and TSDB.
  • You preferably communicate asynchronously via Message Brokers such as MQTT, Pulsar, Kafka, or similar.
  • We build our cloud platform using MQTT and Pulsar.
  • Learning or using the Go programming language is no problem for you.
  • You have experience using in-memory databases to optimize the performance and scalability of applications.
  • You are fluent in English and speak some German.

The Application Process

  • Our HR manager takes a closer look at your application and compares your skills and experience with the profile we are looking for
  • Initial telephone feedback on your application from our HR manager and an appointment to get to know each other (online/team meeting)
  • Your first 30-minute interview with one of our HR managers
  • An on-site visit to our location in our Berlin-Schöneweide office to get to know future colleagues and your line manager (interview and short tour)
  • Final feedback and, if applicable, an offer form us
