To expand our global team, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer (M/F/D) to join our Italian sales team based in Verona. The ideal candidate will spearhead market growth, engage in active marketing of our products, and develop robust business relationships within Italy and beyond.

To expand our global team, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer (M/F/D) to join our Italian sales team based in Verona. The ideal candidate will spearhead market growth, engage in active marketing of our products, and develop robust business relationships within Italy and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, managing, and implementing technical customer projects, from system design through realization to aftercare.
- Providing customer consulting and training, including on-site visits and coordinating service work.
- Developing concepts for automatic passenger counting and video surveillance in buses and trains.
- Evaluating and testing technical components and their system integration.
- Supporting the sales team with tender and proposal management, including technical tender requirements.
- Creating and maintaining project documentation in both Italian and English.
Your Profile
- Bachelors/Masters degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a similar qualification (e.g., technician/master craftsman) with relevant professional experience.
- Advanced knowledge in IT network technology, basic knowledge of electrics/mechatronics, and experience in using ERP software.
- Experience in the public transportation sector in Italy and/or surrounding regions.
- Teamwork, strong communication skills, and customer orientation.
- Willingness for occasional business trips (about 1-2 times per quarter) and a high willingness to travel throughout Italy.
- Excellent Italian and English skills, both written and spoken; German is optional but advantageous.
